My Life Project English Learners’ Booklet I - Students' workbook is a proposal for elementary school kids in grades 3-5. It encourages emergent literacy processes in the second or foreign language through the construction of children’s life projects. This pedagogical initiative allows elementary school kids to make connections with other classes such as math, science, language arts and social studies as well as build perceptions of their own realities and backgrounds.

The booklet presents an intro section following by 5 lessons and a final project outline. Each lesson is developed following a student-centered structure where learners can find vocabulary builders to activate learning, reading comprehension exercises with open ended and yes/no questions, guided writing tasks with sentence frames, word puzzles, tracing, matching and drawing activities to allow learners to bring their worlds to the classroom. It is ideal as a school project, homeschooling and for remote environments.
